STAGES OF HEALING
Brows
-
Day 1 : "Wow I love my brows!"
-
First week: "Why are my brows so DARK?!?!" The brows will appear dark... really dark.
-
Second week: "Where the $*%^ my brows go? Why are they peeling???" At this week the brows will look really light and almost "ashy" this is quite normal as the layers of the skin is healing! You may see some peeling and scabs, again this is quite normal as our epidermis is healing. PLEASE do not pick or peel the scabs as this will pull out the pigment
-
Third week: "Phew! the color seems to be coming back but softer!" After the peeling stage at the end of the 3rd week is when the true pigmentation will appear.
-
Fourth week: "Hm looks great but I see a little area that needs more." Some parts of the brows might heal lighter, other times the brows are perfect! But this is what the complimentary touch up is for!
Lips
-
Day 1: "Kylie Jenner lips who? I need ice!" Ice on and off as the lips will be swollen.
-
Day 2-3: "Did my lips shrink? Why are they dark?!" As the lips are healing the skin tightens and the pigmentation may appear dark. No worries this is only for a couple of days.
-
Day 4-5: "My lips are chapped... wait is it peeling?" Around day 4 the lips will start exfoliating and peeling. DO NOT pick at the skin and please let it fall off naturally.Picking will result in peeling the pigment off and will make lips appear patchy.
-
Day 6-7: "My lips look like I have a subtle kiss to it!" After the peeling stages you will start to see the true pigmentation of the lips. This will be 60% lighter from the first day and 30% lighter if you do the lipstick effect.
Eyes
-
Day 1: "I have eyeliner! no more wasting time on matching! But I feel swollen" Ice the area on and off after procedure and the rest of the day.
-
Day 2: "Whoa Im swollen!" This is quite normal, ice the area on and off.
-
Day 3-6: "I asked for black not grey!! Theyre itchy and why are they peeling? At least the swelling has gone down." As the eyeliner is healing the color might appear greyish. They will be a tad itchy and peeling. This is normal as our skin is healing. Do not pick or scratch the area.
-
1 month: "Looks great but kind of looks patchy in a spot... Do I need a touch up?" Yes! come back for a touch up to make your liner perfect :)
